Gender, Society and Space—Selected translations is a significant text developed from the class of the same name that has been taught by Prof. Nora Chiang at the Department of Geography, National Taiwan University for the last ten years. The fourteen selected papers are grouped into three sections: “Theory and Conceptualization of Issues,” “Empirical Research on Class, Ethnicity, and Mobility,” and “Methodology and Practice.” The original works were written in English by distinguished scholars in the field of feminist geography in the western world. Translated into Chinese, they will help a large number of teachers and students in other parts of the world where this literature is not readily available.
